I thought the compressor was not working on my frigidaire professional but it is actually intermittent what would cause that

I noticed things were thawing somewhat but not completely it seems I emptied the freezer and left the door open and after about an hour the compressor kicked on I noticed that the setting were on the coldest temperatures so I put them at the recommended settings thinking maybe that was the problem it seemed to be working so I put a few things in there yesterday but when I checked today it is cold but not completely frozen. It seems to be intermittent

SOURCE: Freezer section is working but refridge not very cold.

check the vent that lets air from the freezer goes to the refrigerator. A control knob operates the amount of opening through the vent with a flap. makes the flap is not stuck, and responds to the knob, this is all mechanically link.

SOURCE: Frigidaire model# frs6lf7jso my compressor

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.
Be sure the BACK COVER is in place and hasnt been accidently removed.

SOURCE: Why are only drawers in fridge cold & not making ice?

Contact a professional. Sounds like either your damper door is not operating correctly and not letting enough cool air from the freezer enter, or there is an air leak that is making ice form .

Model #FEFL79DSA Frigidaire electric range. 2004 vintage. Last night wife was cooking supper at 350F. After half hour she noticed sizzling sound which was not normal.

Based on the information provided, it seems like there may have been a problem with the oven's thermostat or temperature sensor. It's possible that these components malfunctioned, causing the oven to continue heating beyond the set temperature.
Since the issue seems to have resolved itself and the oven is currently functioning properly, it's difficult to determine the exact cause of the problem. However, if the issue occurs again, it's important to have a professional technician inspect and repair the oven to ensure that it operates safely and efficiently.
Intermittent issues can be difficult to diagnose and can potentially be dangerous, so it's important to take any signs of malfunction seriously and address them promptly.

Frigidaire compressor makes multiple tries before starting. Sometimes one or two but can be many more before it actual starts. (side by side model FRS26KR4CW1

    Two thoughts come to mind.
    1. Low voltage. Check by using a duplex outlet (top&bottom). Using a volt meter plugged into top and refrigerator plugged into bottom check the voltage as the refrigerator tries to start. Should be 10% of rated voltage minimum.

    2. Compressor

Compressor is blowing breaker, fan comes on. Ac worked fine last season. when trying to go to any cool setting, compressor will actually stall generator, or trip breaker if attached to house

You have a faulty start capacitor. The capicitor helps start the motor ... since it is not doing its job, the motor draws LOTS more power from the line popping the breaker. Have your professional RV service center service your AC.

My Frigidaire upright freezer is only 4 years old & isn't working

freezers have safety devices to protect themselves. The compressor has an internal overload to keep it from overheating. some have external reset buttons and some do not. either way the cause must be corrected. if the freezer was low on refrigerant you would see signs of oil near the coils, tubing, or compressor. If there is no leak, it overheats when there is airflow restrictions(dirty coils) or a fan has stopped working. only a few screws keep you from seeing all there is to see. If it is clean and the fan is running, then the compressor may just be the culprit

Edgestar AP550Z won't heat, goes into some sort of alert mode

    http://edgestar.com/ownersmanuals/AP550Z_wire-fix.pdf
This could apply to at least one of your units. Apparently these models have had some trouble with the compressor capacitor wires coming loose. If they're barely touching they could cause the compressor to run intermittently and possibly overheat. The compressor runs in heating and cooling mode.
