My DP42746 was working great, then one day, the bottom half started going black on and off. I thought it was a cable probelem. I unplugged it and re-pluged it in, and it worked fine for several months. The other day I turned it on and got nothing. The LCD light was on. So I took it to the local TV repairman, paid $60 to have the problem looked into. The results: $425 to repair.
I paid $1200 for this TV that I have had for only 2 years!
I am a military spouse and our same tv did the same thing on Super Bowl Sunday 2009! We did everything we know to do: call the company, called the repair man, etc. There apparently isn't a solution to this that wouldn't cost more than the tv is worth. So I got an attorney to start a class action:
