It sounds like the right motor may have died and will need to be replaced. If the axle is not turning at all but the fuse is OK, then the motor has gone bad. If the axle is turning but the wheel is not catching, you may just need to replace the keyway/keystock that the tire locks onto. To replace the motor you must contact Hoveround; they are around $600 plus labor unless your insurance will cover a portion of it. The keyway would be less than $5, if anything. I hope this information is helpful to you, good luck!
I've looked at the Hoveround website and couldn't find a download for a manual for the MPV 4 So i would recommend calling Hoveround directly and asking for one You can call 1-800-542-7236 Hope this helps
Those are only available through Hoveround and retail for around $1159.00. You may want to have a Hoveround Tech come out to diagnose the power chair for $50 to make sure that is what you need before spending that kid of money.
Most parts must be purchased directly from Hoveround. You can mail a check or do a credit card over the phone for payment. Batteries and tires may be found locally. Some items cannot be shipped; they have to be installed by a Hoveround Tech.
