Question about Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64BIT Operating System Software OEM DVD
When opening Scanner message indicates - Insufficient memory to Start ScanWizard 5. Quit some programs and try again. Tried with no success. Reloaded driver and updated - nil effect.
The message you are getting is not the actual problem. Clearly your PC has enough memory to do scanning, are you sure medion scanner is compatible with 64bit OS? could you try this on a 32bit machine?

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Stores are stocking less and less scanners these days, this is due to All in one systems being so affordable. For the price of a decent scanner you can get a comparable AIO which will scan, photocopy and print as well!!! You will find most of these units (even the budget ones) are capable of giving as good a scan if not better than your 2100C, in my experience the HP range are very good followed by the Epsons. Canon is good but tend to be overpriced for the spec, personally I wouldn't touch a Lexmark but that is just my own bias.....
