For the last week my Washer has been showing the F21 error message on every load. I would press the power button and it would automatically start again, after that cycle I would have to choose spin and drain because the clothes were still soaked. Today I got the F21 error but it would not start again, so I removed the front panel and cleaned out the filter and tried the drain and spin cycle. A few minutes later I got the SUD error and sure enough there was a lot of water in the washer and I closed the door and tried to drain and spin again and now I get the F21 message. Now it will not run any cycle and is locked.
My machine is doing the f21 code and will not drain or open? We cleaned the pump out and it is making a loud noise when it runs ? Help
Push the pause/cancel button twice to clear your message. Then run through a rinse/spin cycle. Next try a normal load without any detergent. SUDS is usually from too much detergent. If this fails, checked the hose for kinks. Check connections and if all that fails, you will probably have to replace the pump. Good Luck!

I have the same problem they can not fix it so dont waste your money on a repair guy they just run it through a dianostic test and tell you that you are no using the machine properly
SOURCE: washer runs when timer dial turned though ON button not pushed
Problem solved by ourselves! It was NOT in the circuit board (brain) of the machine. It was NOT in the door locking assembly as others would lead us to believe. It WAS the on/off switch on the control panel--part number 22002560 - a $22.00 problem fix.
SOURCE: dc code appears only when clothes are in washer during spin cycle
If it’s an FAV6800A I think you may have a clutch malfunction with your machine. To verify if the clutch has malfunctioned we need to perform a quick check. Please visit this link and review my post of Solution #1 posted on Jan 30, 2009. Steps 1 & 2 should get you started and give us some troubleshooting direction. Please post back with your results or if you have any questions.

Good Luck… Rich.

Unplug for 10 min to reboot the curcuit board. This will reset the system. Sometimes selecting numerous cycles or pushing buttons a lot in a short period of time can overwelm the little brain in the curcuit. This action will clear the memory of any unwanted comands in the curcuit.
SOURCE: Water left in clothes
The shaft was designed to rotate into 2 directions: one for agitation, one for spinning. The spinning direction is controlled by a mechanism from the clutch engagement. When your plastic pulley wears out, it effects the mechanism to spin. The driving force for spinning is slipped, therefore the spin is weak As a matter of fact, the water remaining in clothes n in turn discharges to the bottom tube
Hello & Welcome to FixYa
F21 error is displayed when the washer is unable
to drain, press PAUSE/CANCEL button twice to clear the display. After this
please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any blockages and make
sure it is not clogged with foreign particles. You can also check the drain
pump to verify that its working. Please get back to me if you have any other
questions.

Hi
F21 error means that the drain time has exceeded 8
minutes; this will turn off the water valves. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to
clear the display. If errors still remains then please check the drain hose and
make sure it is not plugged or kinked. Disassemble the washer by removing the
back from the washer and check the electrical connections at the pump and make
sure the pump is draining. Also inspect the pump filter for foreign objects.
Before disassembling remember to turn off the power and disconnect the washer.
If it still doesn't help then there is an issue with the pump and you'll need
to replace it. F22 error is a door lock error, if you have already replaced the
complete door lock assembly and the issues is still there then check the wire
harness connections to the door switch/lock Unit and Central Control Unit
(CCU). If the wire harness is fine then the issue is with CCU that should be
replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more
information.
