I have just got a tasco 302058 telescope and it has not got a manual with it i am strugling to use it as i have never had one before how do i zoom the main piece in so i can actually see something because...

Find your scope. Objects in the night sky are very tiny-- the scope must be pointed directly at them or you will NOT see anything. Try to find a local Astronomy club and the members will help you.

OK, I'm not that surprised that the image in my Tasco 302058 refracting telescope is upside down BUT, I thought that these types of telescopes are used for looking at nature. How can I correct this or am s.o.l.

You won't find a manual--- from Tasco--- however Meade maintains a web site with all of their manuals-- find one similar to yours. They all go together about the same.
