the rear bearing is shot, it is beyond ecconomic repair!

Remove the rear panel . remove belt . turn drum pully if you hear any noise it is the rear drum bearing and seal . Reach inside drum from front and lift up on inner drum. If this drum moves up and down or side to side you will also need to replace the inner drum. If turning the drum is silent try turning the motor if it makes a noise replace the motor

I had the same problem, we opened up the bottom front panel and found a loose connection. Electrical connector had shaken loose.

The drum is loose. I pulled the back panel off and the nut is tight behind the drum? could it be the bearing? do I need to change the whole drum? is this a common problem or was this do to abuse.
