Shaking GE Profile Washer

My GE Profile Washer WPRE6100G0WT shakes violently during the spin cycle. It does this so much that it appears as if the machine is going to fly apart. I check the dampening straps, the balance ring, and the rod and spring assembly. I also checked to make sure that the outer tub was screwed on to the metal supports. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

run it with the top access panel open and watch,
while you are there try out the suspension ,
you do it like an old car push it down , push to sides etc .
it should resist and return well. no bounce. tight.

All,
There are three screws under the plate beneath the door. Remove these three screws and remove panel. Immediately you will see a removeable plug about 2 1/2" in diameter made of white plastic. This is where your problem lies (or at least one of them). CAUTION - before you remove this plug, put a bucket under it because water will come out. After you unscrew the plug completely, pull it out toward you. You will no doubt find many items that washed out of your cloths. I found legos and coins tangles up with strigs and lint. The entire area was completely plugged. The coins were probably the source af the stains we had on our cloths as they were all black from the water and soap.

The pump on mine burned out and I am trying to replace it. Then I will sell this junker.

I hope this helps some of you. Please advise.

Hi

for the question of water comming in the spin cycle, yes its normal we call it a spray rinse. For the shaking check your leveling and also make sure that the back leveling feet when lifting back of washer up and down that the foot mechanism is functining.

Hope this helps
