Deleting pictures from memory card

I have a Fujifilm Pix A610. My memory card is filled and i can only delete the last 5 pictures then take 5 more. A friend put the card into his pc the previous time and it showed 50 pix which he was able to delete. My mac won't take the card. How do I delete all the pictures by using the camera?

The camera lacks internal RAM or space on the card to do enough caching to delete the pictures. If you were to not exceed about 60% capacity of the card the camera may be able to delete as much as you want on the card. You have to try this. If the camera has a format option for its memory card you can try it out to see if this will clean up the card. The other solution is to have a PC computer. Most of these devices are designed only for PC interface. Jerry G.

Because the little sliding tab on the SD card is set to Read Only. The tab stop you accidentally deleting or overwriting data. The first link shows it.

Can't insert 8GB fujifilm card into Fujifilm fine pix A330

The A330 uses xD Picture Cards, which top out at 2GB. Your 8GB card is some other type (most likely SDHC) which will not work in the A330.

Us there anyway to undo delete pictures on m fujifilm finepix s1600

The answer is YES if you take care. Do it as follows.

First things first: DO NOT take any more photos with the memory card(within your camera) that you want to recover photos from. Take the card out of your cam and put it in a safe place. Because if you take any more files or save any data to your memory card, you may quite possibly ruin your chances of recovery.

Then Connect the card to your computer as it should appear as a "Removable Drive" or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.

Next, if you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a photo recovery utility that will recover your pictures with this software called Wondershare Photo Recovery (I once used this program bounded with some other software) from the following link(the program also recover videos and music files):

Photo Recovery for Windows (if you are running Windows OS)
Photo Recovery for Mac (for Apple Mac OS X)

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to your camera(memory card) until you can recover the files safely!

I hope you good luck!

I cant take a picture with my FUJIfilm Fine Fix A340. Card full.

You need to clean some space to your card by uploading the pics to a computer or deleting them from the card. Or you can buy a new card.

Deleted smart card by mistake. want to get the pix back. Have a Olympus Camedia C-3000 Camera, 3.3 mega pixil. Is there a program to reinstate deleted pix?

Have you ever accidentally deleted pictures from your cameras memory card? Or pressed the Format button instead of delete button and wiped your card clean?
However, there are also a lot of good open source / freeware apps out there that can usually get the job done. And that’s where the nice people at CONVAR come in – offering a program called PC Inspector Smart Recovery , which can recover lost pictures for free. What’s even better is that it’s extremely easy to use and works well (based on my tests).
Please note that after you’ve lost the picture, DO NOT take any more pictures on the memory card, as writing new data to the card lowers your chances of recovering the picture. Also note, that recovering the picture is not 100% guaranteed, but there’s a good chance your picture will be recovered.

Step by step instruction, here it is: 1: Download PC INSPECTOR Smart Recovery.
2: Connect your memory card, either by a little memory card reader, or hook your camera up to the PC via the data cable.
3: Run PC INSPECTOR Smart Recovery.
4: Select the drive which is the memory card. It should be the one that has just connected.
5: Leave the format type as .JPG.
6: Choose a destination for the recovered files.
7: Press ‘Start’.

Hope helped with this. Good luck.

Can I retrieve deleted pictures

Yes, you can recover your deleted photos on your own. It's a just common situation that we lost data after accidental deleting.
Follow the below steps you can recover your deleted photos.
1. Stop taking new photos with this camera.
2. Download and install a recovery software. Last time I used Wondershare Photo Recovery to recover my photos (Shift+Del)
3. Connect your camera to your computer, then you will see a drive letter like H:
4.Select the drive letter and click Next to start automatic scanning.
5. Preview and save your recoverable photos
Notes:
You can preview your photos from Preview Thumbnail to check if all the photos you need are recoverable and evaluate the recovery quality before you buy.
Here is a guide on how to unerase deleted pictures from digital camera.
