If you cannot remember your lock code, you will need to restore your device as new or be able to restore a backup if you cannot remember your lock code.
If you do remember your lock code you can update it in the settings app:
Click on Settings and then scroll down to the Passcode option (you may have to scroll down a bit). This will bring you to the Passcode Lock menu where you can turn off or update your lock code.
