I had the hardest time getting my new 16gb micro sd card to work in my new env3 with mp3s. I called a very helpful verizon technical support person. You must format the card using the phone and may need to do it repeatedly. Mine kept saying it was corrupted. Finally I used my wife's env3 and had to reformat it in her phone twice. With the card in the pc the folders showed up. Finally, I was able to move the wma and mp3 files to the music folder. Some have pictures, some don't. Next I will try video files and put them in my flix folder. I suspect they must have the required video size and audio output.

I downloaded the driver for Vista..only the USB driver and not the VCAST-Rhapsody thing. THen, when I plugged in the Chocolate 3, I made sure that I looked at it's screen and told it to sync music while I had Windows Media Player 11 open. It then recognized it as a device and I was able to sync WMA and MP3 to it just as I would any regular windows compatible player.. not sure about WMA protected though.

Right click the song then properties and uncheck the archive then ok

Mp3 works fine. But you have to have all of the files in the My_Music folder only, sub-directories are supported.

Here is how I put music from my computer onto my LG Chocolate:

Put the Micro SD card into the phone, so that it creates various folders, such as "my music", "my sounds" etc. Using a Memory Card Reader, put MP3 files onto the Micro SD, in the "my music" folder. That's it!

If you use MP3 format on the disk it should work, format the SD disk 1st and then upload the MP3. I wouldn't use the wav files if that's the format your using. Give that a try

You have to convert the files to WMV format and then put them on the card for it to work.

SOURCE: how do i put music on my motorola ve240?

Okay, try this. I had the same problem, but I finally found the solution. If you plug up your phone into the computer, and it doesn't pop up with the Hard Drive and Removable Devices, this is what you must do. {{{Settings > USB > Mass Storage}}} Then, plug it up. It should pop up then. Then you can drag and drop music files from your computer to the phone. It's rather simple once you find out what to do.Hope I was able to help guys!

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

Putting Mp3s on LG Envy 2

Brandon,

1st - Place the SD card in the phone. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

How do i put music on my motorola ve240?

Its seems that the format of songs that you are copying in your memory card in not supported by your mobile, your mobile only support MP3, AAC, AAC+, AMR, MIDI

it might be possible that your are copying MP4 files which will not run on your mobile....

So, please try to use the MP3, AAC, AAC+, AMR, MIDI files only

I can't get songs on my micro SD card for my cell phone

No, Im Sorry But Adaptors Are Incapable Of Holding Memory, And You Shouldn't Take Out The Micro SD Before You Remove The SD Card, You Should Also Try Putting In The Micro SD Card And Going To Tools And Enter Into The Memory Option And Selecting Card, Then Using The Options Button Format It, Then Put It Back Into You Computer And Save All Your Songs To The Folder Named my_music This Should Work, And Just So You Know The Phone Will Not Play All Of The Songs That You Put On It For Some Reason, Its Some Formatting Conflict The Songs Can Be In .wma Format Or .mp3 not .mp4 or any other types.

Saving music on my micro sd..

You can save and play on your phone as long as your phone application supports the format of the music files you are talking about. I even use my mobile as a pen drive to move data here and there.  However when you try to open a music files from mobile remember to choose memory card. Because Phone has separate memory.

All the best!

Saving music on my micro sd..

I'm not sure about your phone, but with the one that i just purchased i bought a SD card reader that plugs into the USB port. The micro SD that i bought came with an adapter and goes right into the card reader. Your computer will recognize it once you plug it in with the card in it. You can find one at walmart in the camera section.

Saving music on my micro sd..

The only way the music can be played on a cell phone is if it is in mp3 format. you also have to list the songs individually (they cannot be separated into folders). to listen to the music you should have some sort of music player on the phone that will play the songs.
