Tablet keeps asking if I want to Shut Down

My tablet randomly flashes the Power Off message and asks me if I want to Shut Down. It doesn't do it constantly. But sometimes it will start flashing it on every 3 or 4 seconds.I have installed the Wakey and the Wakelock apps but it does no good. Sometimes it even turns the tablet off even though I answered cancel.

How can I fix my tablet

First make sure the tablet is charged up. Sometimes you just need to hold the power button down a little longer. If that does not work, most have a reset button that is recessed on the bottom edge of the tablet. You may need to get out the manual for the tablet to find the reset.

My tablet randomly shuts off

Depending on what tablet you have, its possible that the power button is sticking causing it to shut down. Often with tablets holding the power down for 10 seconds will cause them to force shut them off. I would check that and if that does not work a factory reset may solve the problem.

No, I tried holding the power button to no avail just keeps saying powering off, but never does

This could mean the power button is defect. Or a cable inside the tablet. Perhaps you better visit a phone repair store, and let them check. Before you let them repair, ask what it will cost you!!!!!!

When playing games on my Kindle Fire 7" HD, the apps unexpectedly close and return to home screen

When was the last time the tablet was turned off (not just put into sleep mode)?
To turn off the tablet, hold the power button for two or three seconds, then tap "shut down" when asked if you want to shut down your Kindle.
After the device has completely turned off, press the power button to restart.

Please reply with more information if this did not fix your problem!

Why Toshiba Tablet A100, number keypad on login page? Why asking for a password? Why I never seen this page so how could I know the password?

Hi Carla... There's a lot of possibilities on what may have happened. IT could range from a malware, a bug in an app that you have installed, practical joke, or someone just honestly played with it but didn't tell you. Anyways, you're only choice for now would be to do a system reset. Only catch is that it will erase all data in the tablet. If you're ok with that then here's what you need to do:

The following procedure will reset your tablet to factory settings and allow you to use it.
IMPORTANT: All personal data will be erased from the tablet during this procedure.
  1. Connect the tablet AC adapter and connect to power. Be sure to keep the tablet connected to an external power source until the procedure is complete.
  2. Turn off the tablet.
  3. Press and hold the "+" on the volume key.
  4. While continuing to hold the "+" volume key, press and hold the power button.
  5. Tablet will start (and let go of both buttons at this time).
  6. Please read the Android system recovery message that will display on top of the screen.
  7. Press the "Volume Up" to continue this process, or press the "Volume Down" key to cancel this process.
  8. If this process does not work for you, try the process again with the "-" volume key instead of the "+" volume key.
NOTE: It will take some time for the factory data reset to complete.

I hope this helps. Have a good weekend!

Onda v711

You need to perform a hard reset on your Onda V711. Here`s how: You can perform a hard reset by booting into a special recovery mode. First, ensure your device is fully shut down. When the tablet is turned off, keep home button pressed.
Now turn on tablet while still holding the home button.
When white android figure appears, release both buttons.
You will get into recovery mode, you can select "restore factory settings" there.
If that fails, try flashing new firmware.
