The dryer wont heat-it over 5 hrs to dry a load. it would not turn off on automatic side & just keeps running. it turned off on the timed side

If it's not making heat the humidity sensor will never dry out, therefore it keeps running. It sounds like your heating element is bad.

I spilled water on my keyboard last night. Immediately i turned my asus u81a laptop upside down to keep water from seeping under the keys and turned it off. I then removed the battery and let it dry upside...

bad news... you can try and dry it some more in warm and dry condition more another day or two... open up whatever compartment you can and see if there's any moisture... Gently blow dry (not to close) and try again. with todays laptop price, it may not be worth to repair.. probably your hard drive is safe though. worst case: salvage the hard drive and transfer the data - you can event turn it into a portable drive.

When i turn dishwasher on it goes to 1 and just stays there.one time a tech reset my old one by pressing three of the buttons but i cant remmember which ones. its a queit partner 1v

Hi,

Normal-Heated Dry, Normal-Heated Dry, Normal-Heated Dry, Normal-Heated Dry.

OR (depending on the model)

Hi-Temp-Heat Dry, Hi Temp-Heat Dry, Hi Temp-Heat Dry.

Hope that work`s. Keep in mind there is a underlying problem to cause the "1" to appear in the display repeatedly, so this is only a short term cheat.

Good luck.

I left my Sony DSLR our in then .. it didnt rain for a long time. When I finally remembered and went to pick it up it was completely dry .. we didnt turn it on and we took the battery out immediately .....

Hi!

You may keep it turned off until all the external parts and the battery compartments get dry. Furthermore, since the Camera has got wet in rain so there is possibility that rain water may have imbibed inside the Camera thus causing mechanical failure.

So, if the Camera doesn't turn ON even after drying it completely and charging the Battery fully. In that case, service will be required.

Rinse cycle on top drawer keeps turning on

You have a leak due to the Lid seal leak.
1- Unplug the power, then pull out top draw half way and
2-Touch the bottom top housing ( not bottom top draw) you will feel it wet. Try to dry it by stick in a towel.
3- Repeat the same for the bottom drawer.
After drying out, wait for at least 1 day so the sensor can be dried out then plug in the Power, you will be fine.
4- Contact me for the next step.

My roper REX3514 Dryer will only dry on the time cycle.

If you use a lot of dryer sheets, it will build up an oily residue on the sensor strips causing a "false" reading. Light sandpaper and alchohol over the strips should clean them well. Another possibility, is if you have a mixed load, ie..towels, socks, jeans , if a sock or something light keeps hitting the strips, the dryer thinks the whole load is dry (it doesn't know there are different thing in there) Try keeping loads similar when using auto dry.

Dryer comes on, dryer turns, dryer heats but does

make sure your vent is clear from dryer to outside the house.your keeping moisture in dryer and if it cant circulate the air out correctly your clothes will take forever to dry.
