No longer adding tax to food sales

They are rare. The only manual I know of with tax is this one:

Please find below the solution:

Non-printing models (also applies to HR-8TE printing calculator):

1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] key for about 2 seconds
3. Press [TAX+]
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [SET/%]


Printing models (except HR-8TE):

1. Have calculator in "print" mode
2. Press [CA]
3. Hold [SET/%] key for about 3 seconds
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [TAX+]
6. Press [SET/%]

Hey there fellow Canuck, also in ON here! I'm not too familiar with your register, but I know all about the tax thing. I had the same problem at work, although it was with a different type of cash system. We also could not chamge the actual tax % so what we did was change the type of tax. Ex: change it from a food tax to a beverage tax. Hope this gives you some ideas. Eh
