My nextbook won't reset

When I turn my nextbook on, it is frozen on the start screen. I have tried to reset it but it won't come up with anything when I hold the power button and the volume button at the same time. I have tried it multiple times. I have followed the directions in the solution response to the T and it still won't work. What do I do?

Throw it out and get a new one they are really inexpensive now a days .not worth the time or the headache. Sorry but true.

SOURCE: I can't get my NextBook premium 8 tablet to start OR reset.

I just bought a nextbook8 tablet and the screen looks very blurry with a lot of glare. Is this a common problem with this tablet? Is there anything I can do or buy to correct this problem? My eyes really hurt looking at it.

SOURCE: My Premium 8 Nextbook tablet froze so I tried using the reset button in the back,that didnt work so I tried the hold the power button and volume at the same time method and that didnt work either...

Something must have happened during the last update. Either it lost connection or crashed before the process was complete. This unfortunately is called 'a brick' or 'bricked'. You will have to find a way to restore the OS to the tablet. It may need a complete wipe and reinstallation. My suggestion would be to find a local PC tech in the area that services tablets. Or you may have to contact the manufacturer and create a service ticket.

It's frozen. If you can, remove its battery, give it a few minutes, then put the battery back in and turn it back on.

Why is my Next book frozen?

a repair might cost more than the tablet did
if it no longer responds to your finger maybe broke digitizer
you could do a factory reset. and hope it responds to your finger.

My nextbook 7 is frozen on the home screen after i put a different charger in, what do it do ?

Try using the reset switch (a small hole in the case) put a straightened paperclip or a pin very gently through the hole until yuo meet a resistance. Press very gently and this will reset the tablet.

I can not get get to the first screen on my nextbook, it is charge and it stays totally black

I am not directly familiar with your particular tablet, but try this.

Locate the reset button's access hole - usually a tiny hole either on the back of the tablet or on the edge near the various ports and connectors. If you have a manual for the Tablet, it should tell you the location of the Reset button.

Press the button by inserting a paperclip or similar GENTLY into the hole. PLEASE MAKE SURE IT'S NOT THE MICROPHONE HOLE YOU"RE LOOKING AT.

You should feel a soft click when the recessed 'Reset' button is depressed. Hold it down for about 10 seconds, after which the Tablet should reboot itself, and hopefully will now run normally again.
