hello! looks like your TV picture in a "zoom" mode. Find "screen format" button on your remote control and set desired size. It, also could be named "format". Some models require to use customer setup menu. Set format on "auto" mode, if possible. Good luck, Alex.
There is a manual for this model available in pdf format unless you have the original instruction book. Page 23 outlines 'command mode' where you can try pressing ENTER and the corresponding number buttons simultaneously on the remote for more than 3 seconds while pointing RC at the recorder. In your case, because your recorder is set to command mode 1 - press ENTER and 1 together on the remote. This should allow you back into the on-screen menu to revert the command mode back to 3 (which is the default) and it should work. The online pdf manual for this model: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/RDRVX560_EN_ES.pdf unless you still have the original. Pages 22-24 show some of the setup procedures. The pdf is not very big so you can save it for future use if needed.
Press the mode button (bottom left) to cycle through all the watch modes. The last mode is the time setting mode. Yeah, not the usual way watches work in my experience. But have had this watch for 8 years or so and like it because of the big numbers and that it always shows the time while you're in other modes. But now today for the first time it somehow went into "chime" mode (beeps on the hour) and I can't figure out how it got there or how to undo it!
