I want to remove "On Deck", "Channels", "Recently Added" and the Announcements in the Plex media server application. Please help me.
First, get into your Plex Server settings. If you are in the correct place, you'll see the option to switch between Web, Server, Users and Devices. You want to select the Web option. In the categories that show under Web is your Dashboard. You can rearrange the items on the Dashboard and you can also remove the checkbox to suppress them.
Open control panel. Then, look for "Programs and features". Look for the program you want to delete and delete it.
Are you seriously this clueless??
Dude, clueless? Really? Who's the one trying to get a program removed from his computer since Feb 11, 2014? If you don't like the answers, don't insult those that took the time to help. Continue waiting for an answer, man.
You are clueless Mike... Why do you try to help people when you don't know what the hell they are talking about. Plex is a Media Server program.... Plex is good, Sai wants Plex. The feature he or she is trying to hide is a feature of the program... A program that he wants.... Before you go tell people to uninstall something you have NO CLUE about think twice. You are no help to FixYa users... Why don't you just go and tell people to try turning it off and on again, you might be a little bit of help then. Dork!
Hey Mike, you ARE clueless. The person was trying to remove something from Plex ... NOT their computer. Obviously you don't have a clue what Plex even is. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't answer.
