You'll have to reencode the videos to a supported codec. There are literally dozens of mp4 codecs. Try redoing them using Xvid or Divx.

I think the wire that should go to your hand brake is green, all you need to do to bypass this is hook it to an earth.

Take the wire that they tell you to hook to your parking brake and hook it to ground instead.

ITS just a ground cable hook it to the radio ground i did and mine works fine

To bypass the parking brake you should connect the parking brake wire from the unit to ground. It is better to do it via a switch because is illegal to watch video while you're driving. :)

Ground the handbrake wire to the outerpart of the "line out" connector if it's not in use, works a treat

N1 internal solder bypass to work with newer software, N2 solder the two connection under the silver sticker(might void warranty), N3 switch the switch under the silver sticker(might void warranty). Goodluck.

get a toggle switch hook to a ground then to the e-brake wire flip on and off 3 times 4th time leave on worked for me

you need 2 toggle switches . yello/blue wire to switch - switch to ground.
yellow/black wire to switch- switch to red ing. wire. turn this switch on and pulse the other(yellow,blue) 3 times and leave on, then turn the other switch off and then you can ride and watch dvd. just did it this morn. QTRHRS
