Vivitar makes lenses with a variety of lens mounts. If the lens has a Nikon mount then it will mount onto a D3200. If has another mount, then it will not.

When I power on my Nikon I hear a clicking noise. Any ideas on this? D3200 Nikon

Sounds like trouble in the lens. Trying taking the lens off and restarting. No noise? Then the problem in in the lens. No easy fixes other than put on another lens while the camera repair shop fixes that one. If it the short zoom that comes in the kit with many new cameras it is likely not worth the cost of repair.

How can I determine which Sigma and Tamron lenses will work with my Nikon D3200? (I know they have to fit my Nikon F mount.)

There are three things you have to consider when getting lenses for the D3200.

First, you already know that the lens has to have the Nikon F mount.

Second, in order to autofocus, the lens must have a focus motor since the D3200 doesn't have one itself. Sigma designates lenses with the focus motor as HSM. Tamron designates theirs as USD. Lenses that don't have the focus motor will still work with the D3200, you just have to focus manually.

Third, the lens must have the electronics to communicate with the camera in order for the exposure meter to work. Any Sigma or Tamron lenses designed for digital cameras will have the electronics. Older mechanical lenses, including those from Nikon, will still work with the D3200, but you must set the exposure manually, without any help from the camera's light meter.

Need to convert a Vivitar 70-150mm telephoto from Canon TX to Nikon FTn mounts

Vivitar made several different 70-150mm lenses. If the lens has a T-mount then you can purchase a Nikon T-mount adapter and replace the Canon one on the lens. If the lens does not have a T-mount then you're out of luck. Nikon cameras have thicker bodies than Canon cameras, and an adapter would have to have negative physical size.

Does anyone knows how a Vivitar 75-260mm lens will works on nikon d3000?

Vivitar makes lenses with a variety of mounts. Assuming the lens in question has a Nikon mount then it will fit perfectly well on a D3000. If the lens has a Canon mount, for example, then it will not fit at all.The lens is a manual focus lens, so autofocus will not work. You'll have to focus by yourself. The lens also lacks the electronics to communicate with the camera. You will have to shoot in the Manual exposure mode, setting the shutter speed and aperture yourself, without any help from the camera's light meter.

Are there any Vivitar digital cameras that will accept a vivitar 70-210 lens from a 35mm camera?

No. Vivitar currently does not make any digital cameras with interchangeable lenses. They do make a film camera with interchangeable lenses:

Depending on the mount on the lens, it may fit a number of digital cameras from another manufacturer. For example, if the lens has a Nikon mount then it will fit onto every Nikon digital SLR model, though perhaps not all features will work with every model.

Will the Vivitar SI 70-210 mount on my Nikon D90. Will the AF work properly? Thanks

Vivitar makes lenses for a variety of cameras, so a lens for a Canon, for example, will not fit onto a Nikon. Assuming the Vivitar lens has a Nikon mount, then yes, it will mount on the D90 and yes, it will autofocus properly on the D90.

Vivitar telephoto lense 500mm

Yes and no. If it doesn't come with one, you'll need a T-adapter for Nikon in order to mount the lens (you can get one from Vivitar, as well as from other manufacturers). The lens is not an autofocus lens, so obviously you will have to focus manually. It's also a mirror lens so it has a fixed aperture. It's what Nikon classifies as a non-CPU lens, so you cannot use the D90's exposure meter. You will have to shoot in Manual mode.
