Safe and vault techs would advise you
1. Press the Program key.
2. Press it a second time.
3. Enter your 5-digit User Code. The green LED remains ON.
4. Enter the 5-digit Password of your choice (any combination
except 00000.) After 5 digits are entered, the green LED
turns OFF.
(To enter a new Password, repeat these steps. To erase the
Password, press Program twice, enter your User Code and then
enter 00000.)

Sentry Safe 1250. How to change the combination please?
Safes with dials are a little more complicated. NEVER close the door after changing the combination. Practice the opening sequence with the door open. If you did it wrong, you can reset and try again

Trying to open safe but each time I enter it beeps with a red light
When you change batteries the combination that you programmed into the the Sentry Safe will delete and you will get the red light error signal. At A1 Locksmith Service we recommend that you use the original master code that came with the Sentry Safe. If you can not find your owners manual with the master combination. Changing the combination
These sentry safes dial combinations are not built to be changed as they have no key change hole. Switching the order of the tumblers could be done by a trained locksmith. I would suggest buying the electronic sentry safes as these safes can be reprogramed.
