Ive checked thru the top and back cant notice anythin brohen but when i do spin tbe tub the banging noice is coming from in tbe drum and its pretty wobbley
With the washer empty, spin the wash tub by hand. The drum should be spin true without any noticeable wobbling and spin without much noise. If it wobbles or makes any kind of rubbing or banging noise as you turn it by hand. The problem is that the spider support arms are broken. It is an expensive repair job since the washer has to be completely torn apart and the wash drum needs to be replaced. Get a few estimates before deciding whether to repair or replace. Sorry.
Check to see if the machine is level and all the 4 legs are making good contact with the floor. If the machine is level, check to see if the machine spins freely. Open the door and check the drum. It should be hang straight in the opening. Spin the drum by hand and listen for any strange noises. It should spins quietly without any banging noises. If that check out, remove the lower access cover and look at the wash drum. There are two shock absorbers. If they look damaged, they will need to be replaced.
Hi
Does this happen every time???
If YES... then the machine is not balanced on the floor well.... the 4 stands on which the machine rests have adjustable screws... You will need to fasten or loosen the nuts that will adjust the height of the legs on which the machine rests.... all the 4 legs need to be firmly on the floor .... If one is too high then the machine rocks on its side...
If NO.. only sometimes...
You are overloading the machine with heavy clothes... distribute your wash clothes by weight...
Several possibilities for noise. check concrete balance wieghts at top and bottom of washer, make sure they are not loose.
Check drum restraint spring(s) are not broken.
Check suspension legs for wear.
Check for loose motor fixings.
Finally, remove drum belt, and spin drum by hand, tjhere should be noise from bearings, if it feels rough or is rumbling , then main bearings have failed.

Thanks.
sounds like a balance problem may be when the drum was replaced they didn't fit the new drum in the correct spot the other thing that would cause load banging and excessive vibrations in the machine is if the shockers are worn out, believe it our not even washing machines have shockers to dampen the movement of the drum spinning
