No picture Only sounder, no picure just a black screen

Sounds like your screen has died. Check with an authorized Nikon dealer.

If you can display pictures in playback mode
but screen is black in capture mode then the CCD sensor has stopped working and needs replacing.

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Samsung pn64d8000 TV does not have any advanced settings.

sounds like a cold solder. a connection that was soldered, wasn't properly. if it is still under warranty send back. if not then have repaired.

Some 235s had a problem with the contrast setting. When the contrast is set to full the screen turns black.

When you turn on the GPS and the screen goes black, try tapping the left arrow on the track pad a few times. You should see the screen start to lighten. If that doesn't work, tap the power key and try tapping the left arrow a few times.

My viewing screen is black. I had successfully taken a picture, viewed it, and turned the camera off. When I turned it back on about 30 seconds later, the viewing sceen was black. I can 'take' a picure, but it comes out black. Help!
