I stuck my Nikon Coolpix L18 in my jacket pocket and closed the snap, and apparently such a gentle force cracked the screen. Now there's a big crack in the middle and the screen is white with big black spots on it. Does anybody know an inexpensie place I could buy a new screen or something to fix it? Because if I send it into Nikon to fix it, it'll cost almost as much as if not more than the actual camera itself cost me. Your help is much appreciated!!!

I just spent a whopping 10 minutes removing 6 small screws. I had to wrestle it a littl to seperate the case, but once open the screen lifts out. Attached to a ribbon cord. Carefully unlock the cord, replace LCD, reassemble. I'm seeing about $55 bucks for this screen. You can do it yourself.....Good luck.
