Always on auto shut off - LG 42 42LK450 42 LCD TV

its a defective fan resistor they always fail..new can be had at auto store for around 25.oo ....have a good day !! this is most always, why a heater fan does not shut down. should be behind glove box next to blower motor.

The thermostat is the problem, I used aew3656's solution posted elsewhere in FixYa, and took care of the same problem on my steamer, just take out the damaged thermostat and use it as a sample to get a new one from any electronics supply store, BTW don't forget to buy thermal grease, it helps dissipate the heat so your steamer won't overheat, and the thermostat wont't go off every 2mins.

Hi!... there are some brands who have these problem... sometimes if they freeze then restarts or same as your phone that auto shut-off... if these happens just try to remove the battery then turn it On and always delete your web cache 'coz it might be your phone memory is full... Hope this help you...

Unplug it for 20 minutes or longer to fully reset it. At that point, the default shut-off time will be two hours, unlss you use the auto-off to increase this time limit to 3 or 4 hours.

Check your laptop CPU fan is running if no replace it. Problem is because of over heating....

Try running it without the battery. Sometimes an IBM battery can develop a short and cause this. If it still does it without the battery, I'm afraid it's the power management chip on the motherboard, and the motherboard will need to be replaced.
