ricoh 1502... just enter to sp mode (yellow, 1,0,7, push 'c' button 5sec.).... after entering sp mode, switch off & on the machine; if not cleard sc541,,, check thermistors for open/short circuited before going to changing powr supply board 7 finelly BICU (mothr board)

Replace the thermistors on the heating unit. Tere are 2. Replace them both.

cal for the replacement of themostat and thermister.

That is a Fuser problem.
There are here several post on how to solve it.
Just make a surch (or see my profile. I think it will be easear.

SC541 is a fuser heat failure. This means the fuser, which heats up and fuses the toner onto the paper, is not heating properly. Most of the time on Ricoh's this is caused by failure of the thermistor(s) which are responsible for reading the temperature of the fuser unit.
I would look in your local phonebook's yellow pages under copier service/supplies. Either find an independent servicer, such as someone listed as "services all makes and models" or look for a Ricoh, Gestetner or Savin dealer. The Gestetner and Savin makes are exactly the same as Ricoh so they may be able to help.

The PCU is the drum unit. It probably has just worked loose. Just unlatch it and shove it back in to make good connection in back.

SC541 relates to a heat up error.

tRY REPLACING THE THERMISTER WHICH IS NEAR MIDLE.
