Screen broken picture and sound ok, but screen is broken

It sounds like it was dropped or banged hard. I would suggest just replacing it.

put a flashlight behind the TV screen or front screen close, just try as close as possible, if you see image that means that the Back-Light inverte is defective or the screen lamps are not working, if deres no imagen the video card is not working (main board)

In what way is the screen broken? cracked, distorted picture, no picture but has sound?

If it is cracked. Replacement of screen is expensive. Cheaper to buy a new TV.
If Distorted. Parts linked to the screen can be the culprit. Most common part to fail is the T-con board. Main board may not be sending signal to the T-con board.
If its no picture but has sound. Back lighting has failed which could be several things that can cause that.

without any other details besides "broken" it will be hard for someone to help with diagnosing your problem. We need symptoms like. has sound but no picture. Picture has horizontal or vertical lines. part or half of the screen is black, black borders don't count. Hope the info here has, in some way, helped bring you closer to what to do with your TV.

Sounds like you have a backlight problem. To verify this, turn on the set, dim the lights in the room, and shine a bright flashlight on the screen. If you see a faint picture you have a backlight fault. It could be as simple as a bad capacitor in the power supply, or a faulty inverter board, or in rare cases a bad backlamp.

sounds like you have a bad senor... the screen is ok but it has nothing to project .. in most cases this is the most expensive fix on a camera and usually not woth it.. sorry

if there is any out put check it in external tv or monitor or lcd
if it is ok on external monitor your player lcd got problem 1- hi voltage that connect to lcd Fluorescent (has 2 wire)
2 - or Fluorescent is broken

Take it back apart and make sure the connectors to the lcd are properly seated and locked down tightly. This is usually the cause of the white screens.

If ur screen is got hit by any object or LCD screen noticeable,broken not worth fixing,because the tv compannies sell the LCD screen same as a new tv.If the tv is normal use video just die.Than replaced ur LCD inverter board to get picture back.

Problem is your CCD has failed. Expensive repair.

This more then likely a back light inverter board issue! It can be intermittent or just black an non responsive.
