Nokia 5800 wont charge?

The problem is probably that your battery is getting old. The battery only lasts for a limited amount of charges, and when you are getting close to that limit it can get hot and will only last a few hours.
I would recommend you buying a new battery, which is not that expensive. If you are looking for a cheap battery you can allways go on eBay and try to find a trust worthy seller. Or if you want the real deal, go to your local electronics store.

your phone needs to be evaluated or try checking if its a battery problem.

plzzz change your battery and buy new nokia original battery ok

Does the phone charge when you put it on charger?
your phone must have crushed.
You need to install new firmware (flashing).
Take it to a phone service center and they will flash it for you, this will put new firmware(software) in your phone.
All your phone data will be lost though.
Memory card data will not be lost.

i think try reset your phone will help you. if its not possible try update your phone.......

I just fixed this problem on my 5800 nokia screen problem doing the following: waited till the battery ran off took off my mini sd card and then charged it for a while and switched on.

my 5800 wont turn on when i hold in the power button the phone just vibrates and stays off tried charging it but that doesn't work either

try to clean the terminals and change the battery with a certainly good one..if still not ok then your phone is basically dead..go to a repair shop and have it flashed..

I had the same problem, I took off the memory card and de sim card, i turned the phone on... and then off... and then I had put back the two cards, and i turned it on again... I worked
