It says Contact service center if you removed the water filter and the error is still coming up.
They refuse to give a better answer than just to let it be repaired by them.
That has to do with the drain itself. It can come up when the unit is draining slowly, it has nothing to do with water-level really. I would suggest makign sure that your drain hose is not crimped / crushed / or obstructed first before going onto other problems.
I had something similar. It turned out that one of the option keys was stuck in an "in" position (did not jump back out after it was pressed) which disabled the functions of all the other keys. The lights in main dial came on but it was not possible to do anything else.
I had the same problem. First the grinding noise during the rinse cycle and then after four weeks the OE code. LG had a local repair service come out and he determined that the drain pump was dead and ordered a replacement. Still waiting on part after only 3 days.
Hello, The most common cause of an OE error code on a modern LG dishwasher is: 1. Blocked drain hose 2. Obstruction in the sump area (beneath the filter, which needs to be removed to check for onstruction) 3. Failing drain motor. else you need to REPLACE THE PCB POWER CONTROL BOARD Good Luck!!!
