SOURCE: the image is weird!

Try taking the picture at default settings. the mode is also called Auto in some cameras. This problem usually occurs when you change the ISO or aperture settings.
Try cleaning the lens (if dirty) with a soft cloth. usually there are special camera lens cleaning cloth available at Camera stores.

My screen suddenly out of nowhere polarized and changed colors... seems to be functioning otherwise...

It sounds like their is moisture or clamyness inside the tablet. Let it lay in the sun bit with the screen downwards. See if it solves the problem.

Polar to rectangular conversion working incorrectly

At first, Rect and Polar are a display-format instructions, not a conversion functions. Polar instruction displays complex value in rectangular form a + bi. The complex value can have any complex form. However, an r*exp(i*theta) causes an eror in Degree angle mode according to the TI avowal. See captured images below

Sony VPL BW5 projector has yellow spots showing screen.

On a LCD PJ there is usually 6 polarizers. 3 IN Polarizers (one for each color...RGB) and 3 OUT Polarizers (again, one for each color...RGB). The blue polarizer that usually goes bad is the BLUE IN Polarizer.

It is usually a fifteen minute or job to replace the polarizer.

Dark scenes are impossible to see

This is a fundamental limit of Ti DLP. The part can not reproduce low grey scale, so low light film is dominated by artifacts. It helps to sit farther away from the screen. The color shift is caused by a factory tollerance on the color wheel, but there is no user adjustment for it.

Weird colors in viewfinder

Sounds to me like a CCD problem, which is a bad thing. CCD faults were quite common in the early S2's. It would be worth contacting Fuji about.

can you insert a few images into the thread to have a look at. Need more than one to check consistency of problem.
