Tablet did not boot at all. Opened the device (four screws and multiple clips) and saw that a ribbon cable had worked loose. Reattached the ribbon cable and secured it. Attempted booting. Now, at least the "infoTMIC" logo appears, but the device does not boot from that point onward.
Tried the "reset" button on the back. Attempted to boot. Stuck on boot logo.
What's my next step?
(will not charge or power on)I sent my smartphone in for repair the other day. They told me it was water damage in the charging point i have never had it near water but apparently having the phone in high humidity places is common for it to happen eg talking on phone under bus stop in the rain, having phone somewhere in bathroom while having shower, holding phone over hot coffee? hope you get it fixed :p

You need to do a factory reset by holding down the power and the volume (-) down button at the same time until u see a black screen with Command prompts.. After this use the volume up and down buttons to stroll up and down and the power button to select.. Go down to data factory reset and press select then select yes.. And your tablet should reset itself.. This May or may not work on the first try.. Please wait at lease 5 minutes for it to boot up because it will take a while to boot after this so don't get all frustrated. If it's still stuck at the go logo just go back to step 1 and repeat.. This is what I did for my tmax 9 tablet when it was stuck at the go logo.. It didn't work the first ten for me but for the 2nd factory wipe it did the trick..

If you have available at your home, try spraying just a little bit of WB40 in the button and try to move it back to its place depressing it and dragging it back with two matches or two toothpicks.
