This happens to me as well but only when I overload my washer or when my washer needs to be ran thru its cleaning cycle.

The cycling or operating thermostatis often the problem when a dryer runstoo hot, but there are also other things that can make it run hot also.

It sounds like you have some type of scum left over from the loads you are doing. Spray around the tub with a good tub/tile cleaner, then fill it with water and pour in several cups of white vinegar. let it sit for a few minutes then let it run through a wash cycle with no clothes. It should clean it out.

You might rethink whatever products you use because if too much soap or alkaline it could be leaving behind residue.

The dryer is prone upon leaving marks on clothes. The felt band surrounding the drum has worn out. Replacing this felt band will keep your clothes streak free again

If the watch is more than 4 years old, then the gears can slow down due to the lubricant drying out and leaving a gummy resdue. I use a special spray to loosen them up again and I use a special instument that causes the gears to move fast. If this all fails then it is cheaper to just replace the movement with a new one. tub bearing water seal gone ,needs new bearings and seals.

This often is called "lint" but is really a "whiting" left by un-dissolved soap and can be seen at it's worst on dark colored clothes. This is made worse in a colder climate where the cold water entering the washer is much colder than normal. Things that can effect the quality of the finished washed products.
Too much soap: ( we have a test for this further down the page ) If you follow the manufactures instructions on the box, then chances are you ARE using too much soap. They like to sell you their product, I find cutting usage in 1/2 of what the box says will still wash good and also cut your chances of getting "whiting" on your clothes.

depeds on where it's coming from. Open the front door, is there toner on the big black belt? if yes get a clean dry cloth and wipe , turn belt at edges only. It may be that the toner is leaking, after markets sometimes do that.

i have a maytag washer, when i wash clothes ,it is starting to leak from the bottom.can you tell me what the problem is.

is she using powdered soap? if so shes been using too much. shell need to clean out the washer. a bottle of white vinager in a hot water wash with no clothes will clean it out. tell her to cut back on the soap. the box will say use a whole scoop. but thats just to get you to buy more soap. you only need half of that
