flatron functions only as video monitor, audio is run or provided through a separate device connected to CPU computer or other sources connected to video player.
Have you tried taking out the connecting VGA cable and putting it back in? (Sounds silly but sometimes works!) Also, can you try using a different cable to see if it is a cable fault? Try the monitor on a different PC/laptop and then you can tell if it is a fault with the PC or the screen.
You will need another box to convert the output signal from Sky box to VGA output to feed the monitor. Juts Google ' Video to VGA adapter'. For example:
This is a common issue, the power supplies in LCD monitors fail prematurely. connect audio output (RCA Jack white n red color) from the video, to the audio input of your TV. Make sure you use same AV channel for the video and audio. i.e AV1 or AV2 or AV3
