I need to change the waste container on a RICoH MPC3500. Where the hell is it?

Ricoh MP171 does not have a waste toner container. It recycles used toner back in the developer unit - where it is mixed with new toner and developer powder, and can be used for printing again.

Most common problem is the electrical connector on the fusing unit or the connector that the fusing unit connects to inside the machine is broken. So when you push the Fusing Unit in to the machine the connector moves out of position and doesn't connect properly.

Try to disconnect all the paper trays, clean the rollers that pick up paper and reassemble the unit

just find out which color make the blotchy, go to replace that color drum cleaning blade, it should take care your problem.

The problem is to do with the IH inverter (it is part of the fusing unit).
Any cables loose?
