You have either a bad lid switch, a bad drive coupling or a bad timer.
If you can move the timer dial to spin manually and turn it on and it spins the lid switch is good and the timer is bad.
If you manually move it to spin and the motor runs with no spin, the drive coupling is bad.
If you manually move it to spin and nothing happens, the lid switch is bad.

The problem is the pressure switch has failed or the hose is plugged up, has a hole in it. These are usually inexpensive and are very easy to replace. Here is a video this will walk you thru testing and replacing a pressure switch. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

if it doesn't empty check the pump for blockages or just not working electrically, or check cold water supply to machine, or the cold water solenoid, this may also be faulty

The lid switch is probably broken does it just sit there at the first spin cycle???
