I am trying to find a wiring diagram for a telex turner 56 road king to use on my cobra29ltd can any body give me one

attach the wires according to the schematic you got with the radio telling you what wires do what. Those wire go on pins 1 - 4 The yellow wire is not connected.

You need a wiring diagram for the radio and mic. or take it to a CB shop.

In my opinion it is the Turner Road King 56. Made by Telex / Turner

same pin out as if you were connecting it to a cobra 29.

if it pulled them off the switch you may need a new cord ?? or just get a new on they only $38.99.. well thats what we selll them for... most replacement mic cables are $14.. they someone installing.. $5... theres $20 easy.. pin 1 ground

if you have a cobra radio with four pin input and a turner road king 56 it goes like this. pin one shield and red wire,pin 2 white,pin 3 blue,pin 4 black and tape up the yellow wire it isn't used. the numbers should be on the plug if not look inside your jack on your radio. hope this helped

The RK56 was a good mike until Telex bought out Turner many years ago. Now the audio output is lower than it used to be & it's not a compatibility issue as Galaxy radios have microphone amplifier circuits similar to most other CB & 10-Meter radios. You'd have been better off buying an Astatic 636L or even a generic noise-cancelling mike instead. The only thing I can recommend is to hold the mike on your cheek, close to but not directly in front of your mouth, with the grille facing it & speak in a louder than usual voice.
