Error#C1-5311 On the screen of my Samsung CLX-9250 laser copier, the message appears at the top: "Error Black Toner Cartridge # C1-5311: Open / close the sport." Given that the black toner cartridge is still full at 40%, I tried to pull it out and shake it to replace the toner, I have tried to clean some parts, but nothing. Could you provide me help? Thank you.

Check the little switch/door on the right hand side of the drums.
This has worked successfully for me.

Symptom:
After replacement of a C3530 Image Drum, the message, "Toner Sensor Error" is displayed.






Cause:
The plastic shutter in the ID is fully or partially covering the toner sensor window.




Resolution:
Move the cover upward to allow for the sensor to become fully exposed prior to reinstalling the drum.

Just cover the eyes (on both sides) that you can see in the bottom of the machine after removing the imaging cartrige with a small piece of electrical tape.

With printer switched on push the switch which is located inside the upper left side of printer (it is a small white switch) and then release it. 


Also try resetting the gear, take the cartridge out. On the gear side take off 2 screws, the black gear on top right side, with a small spring underneath. Just take it off and reset it (rotate clockwise) so it is not at the stopping point.

Easily Solved! I've got the the Samung CLX-2160 and I have was getting the same message "Replace/install Waste Toner Tank". The first thing I asked myself was, what is the 'Waste Toner Tank'? After typing in into google, I realised that the 'Waste Toner Tank' is the grey colored part located to the left (If you're facing it) of the toners barrel. So all you need to do is take the Waste Tone Tank out, shake out all the waste tone from it and replace it. Your printer will be up and running like the first time!!!
