Codes to check are 0391,0361,0388,0341. If you wish to get more setup codes, three digits, four
digits or five digit ones, check this link. Pull up older posts there. Setup code list and setup instructions to some popular model
remote controls are given. Select the 'Timeslide' option from the drop-down
list by the 'Sidebar' at the display window. It will make search easy.
Yamaha remote has ability to control other devices (TV, DVD, cable box, ...) only by pre-defined set of models. Look up in your manual to the Yamaha where you will find list of manufacturers and models of devices with corresponding codes. If you can find your model there, program it into the remote. If not, you can try some of the other codes, at least program +/- and other simple functions should be quite compatible among brands.
Any codes if any are available from the mfg of the remote. If nothing , and you have both remotes and one is programmable, you can do it. Just follow the directions for the programmable unit .
I can help you to program your One For All Big Easy URC-3220 Universal Remote to control your Symphonic TV & Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 cable box.
I e-mailed Yamaha (Canada) about this problem and they said the only codes they know of are the codes that are in the owner's manual. But these codes just appear to be for the remote control that comes with the product and not for the cable remote.
