This is probably caused by a failure of a chip inside your phone, i suggest you contact a local technician to check it out, else i guess it's just broken'.

What you can try too,m but i doubt if it will help is to do a master reset of the phone, this should be somewhere under the preferences menu.

Can you try a non-working box in the Thompson box's location in the lounge? If you swap the boxes in the lounge and they both work normally then you must suspect that the cable supplying the conservatory must be the problem.
