unfortunately there are several variations in the assembly of television stands, fortunately this site has video questions. This depends on the model being hung on the stand. The size screw to use is usually listed in the manual. Also make sure to check the maximum length of the screw or you can damage the TV.

Did you check the mute? Its possible it was muted.

Can confirm M4 x 35mm at .70 pitch are the exact screws. You need eight of them to fully secure the base to the tv

this is an indication that the lamp door is open or loose. or might be a lamp but i suggest making sure the lamp door cover is screwed down first
