How do I adjust front to rear fade I can't seem to find this in the manual

You can fade front to rear in the menu but its not switched it might be fully faded to the front

When the rear output setting is "rear s/p:SW", you cannot adjust the front rear spreaker balance. Go to the rear speaker output from function and select "rear sp/full".

If you only have 2 sets of pre-outs, you will either have to split the fronts into front and rear channels and use the other for a subwoofer signal, or else utilize an equalizer or other preamp that separates out a sub channel. I have an Alpine EQ that I send one stereo pair into, and it sends out front, rear, and sub outs. That allows for front/rear fade, and independent sub level adjustment.

Please try the selection button again (the one that allows you to set the bassetc) and look for FAD or fade option. That will adjust the front or rear volume

jhinsincity: you dont need to be here, do you? the problem are the caps on the hyperboard, 10 -16v@ 10uf, rear access right hand green board, model 57hx81, the hyperboard must desoldered from main board. read the post on wavy lines,,

Push the menu/sel button, select bal/fad. Pioneers use the same adjustment for balance and fade. push side to side for balance, up and down for adjusting front to rear

The service manual on page 8 shows how to adjust the Red/Blue/Green screen voltages. To get to the adjustment board, take the front speaker grill off (two screws at the bottom left and right) and set it aside. No need to disconnect any wires. Then remove the plywood board with 4 screws that exposes the screen/focus adjustments. The top 3 adjustments are for focus, and you need not mess with these. The bottom 3 adjustments are for Red/Blue/Green screen voltage rough adjustments. My screen showed red lines, so I had to turn the bottom right adjustment with a philips head screwdriver just slightly until the red gun retrace lines where no longer visible.

try setting your menu;s to adjust the picture settings

Press the audio button (A button in right hand upper corner) till you see FADE or BAL press the up down or left right arrows to adjust the fade and balance till all your speakers work.

If they still dont work, check the wiring at the speaker and the wiring behind the head unit to make sure their properly intact and properly grounded.

Have you attempted to adjust the "FRONT REAR FADER" Is a control that fades the sound between front and rear.
