Using 7N and 7C on natural red/blond now growing in grey

To cover increasing grey I mixed equal parts 7N with 7C and had a garish copper red appear! I want to tone this down and cover grey so please can you give me advice? ie ratio of C to N to calm down copper and cover grey??

You may have to purchase a hair stripper and recolor your hair.....FIRST though, wash your hair with shampoo 5 times consecutively (wash, rinse, wash, rinse, etc). After the fifth wash, condition and leave on for 5 min then rinse and see if that toned it down. If not, purchase a hair color remover (stripper) and recolor your hair with a more tame shade.

If I have natural blonde hair then decide to dye it head in the clouds blue permanent from Garnier, will I be able to return to my natural color r blonde if I don't like it?

If you die your hair, you can either wait for your hair to grow back out(which could take a while) or you can bleach your hair to make it look semi normal so you could have blonde hair again.

it's only possible to lift 3 shades (like 3to 6, or 4 to 7) without taking undertones into consideration. To go from a dark brown (level 3) to a 9n you would have to pre-lighten your hair with an on the scalp bleach first. Then color with 9n and 20 volume

My sideburns are turning white but unevenly. I want them white. How?

Three solutions to this: you can dye them to match either bleaching the darker side till it's lightest blonde and adding a grey toner (hard to match and quite damaging, use a tone colorant which is a few shades lighter to color the white hair only (looks natural If done properly) while your hair is in that stage. Or shave your head.

Gray hair is resistant to accept color.....You might try to find one of 2 products: " Zotos Porosity Equalizer" from Sally's or any beauty supply store. Also, Clairol has a new formulation called "Gray Solution", where there is a cream added to gray hair prior to adding color. This is for next time you plan to color.
In the meantime, you may want to purchase Roux Fanci-Full Color Styling Mousse in either #19 or #18 to tone down the red tones from your local beauty supply or online.Good Luck

Hello Dear

The Dark natural is the best choice but when your hair grow they are naturally grey or white, the show a great different that look odd sometimes. Try one tone down in darker shades. Ash grey is a good option if that suits you and your complexsion. If you need further assisstance tell me your complexsion tone.
Hope it will help you.

I USED 5RR MIXED EQUAL PARTS WITH 5B. WITH BLEACH FOOLS. WHEN RINSED THE RED ATTACHED TO THE BLOND PIECES AND TURNED THEM PINK. NOW HOW SHOULD I GET RID OF THE PINK?

when you bleached your hair you removed all the pigment from your hair which is why your hair turned pink. You need to use a color the same level you want to achieve but make sure it is an N ( to put back the primary colors ) this is called a filler. after you rinse and dry then apply the 5RR . it helps to rinse out not shampoo joico color esp the red series then use joico cuticle sealer. don't shampoo your hair for 2 days , it should help with the red fading. always use a filler when coloring bleached hair.

You can't lift color with color you would have to use bleach if you have color on your hair and it hasn't been cut out all the way!
