The rattling noise is maybe a sort of buzzing only more metallic? Sounds like the coils on the gas valve making it flutter. Causes are the coils and/or the ignitor.

clean out all your vent holes,wall,dryer,lint trap,that should do it-mike

change the drum rollers

the E in the model # means it is electric. It would start with LGR if it was gas.
