Water leaking at front of condensor ( inside)unit.

3 head Mr slim Mini split. Starting up A/C for the first time this season. Condensate dripping from the front of one of the inside units. some water running out Condensate line. It does not appear kinked. System was installed three years ago, R410A. No problem in previous years. Seems to be dripping behind the condenser coil onto vane.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Owners manual said if this happens call a repair man. Can't believe it is that serious.

Sounds like there might be a blockage in the condensate pan that is not letting all the water drain through the condensate line. if you can access this area try to clean all the debris out

Hi - I have a MR SLIM MSZ A09NA HEAT PUMP. It is dripping inside the room. It was installed in 2008. Is seams to be loose on the wall. Is it supposed to be level? tipped to the right ?

An air conditioner should be installed so it's level. These appliances are designed so that condensate collects below the fan and runs into the slinger ring, which is made of sheetmetal and is part of the fan assembly. The bottom of the ring acts like a gutter to collect condensate. The fan then picks the water out of the ring and slings it against the condenser coils.
Recycling the condensate in this manner increases the coils' cooling capacity. Check the air conditioner for level -- front to back and side to side -- when you install the unit.
If it is tipped a little to the Front then you will Get water inside room.

Reason for water leaking.

Mr Slim is dripping condensation into the room. I use this to heat and cool a 500 sq ft finished space over garage. I have been looking for troubleshooting guides but no luck. It is cooling the space,...

Hi,

Firstly i would try and establish if the unit is on a gravity drain or a pumped drain.

1. If the drain is gravity it means the condensate water will flow with gravity normally straight through the wall, so check for blockages outside and inside, the unit may look clean but if it hasn't been serviced there may be a build up of dirt in the drain.

So try and locate the outlet of the drain outside (normally by the refrigeration pipework to condenser) and attach a wet hoover to it and make a good seal, this will **** any water/dirt out of the drain line.

2.If its on a pump, a small water pump which collects the condensate in a sump and then pumps it away when a float is activated. (Normally fitted if a gravity drain option is unavailable).
You can check to see if the sump is full and overflowing which is an indication the pump/float has failed and will req replacing by an A/C company. Or the PVC drain line is blocked with dirt.
The pump is either located behind the unit in the casing, or in the white trunk containing the refrigeration pipework

All the best
