Depends on where you are. In most states, and with most finance companies, you will need to bring your payments up to date. That's about it. Just be aware that there will likely be extra fees associated with the repossession itself. You'll need to clear that up as well with the repossession company. Fiance companies would much rather have you pay what you owe, than to take the car back. They want to avoid having to spend the time, effort and money to clean, repair and sell the car. Some people spend money on going out to eat or buying coffee each day Well put the money you spend for coffee and lock it in a place and once a month put that on your loan. Coffee at two dollars a cup every day means over seven hundred dollars a year. Some people can save over a thousand dollars a year or more that way.
Also if you can pay twice a month the interest cost goes down as well. Even if you split your payments to twice a month your interest is cheaper than if you make a full payment once a month. Even weekly payments is better. The secret is if you come into extra money DON"T blow it. Pay down your debt.
Unless you paid cash for the minutes, the money should be traceable. Your bank will be able to tell you who received the payment (debit, checking or credit card). Credit card statements usually list the phone number of the payee. If you paid by cash, check with the place that took the payment.
I would get a copy of your statement and show it to the mechanic and ask him who took the money out then ....... these crook mechanics give us good mechanics bad names.
Paypal is free to join and is owned by EBAY The visa emblem should not have been associated with Paypal which has its own emblem. Are you sure it went via paypal? Did you get a confirmation email from paypal to say that you had sent money to your seller? Its possible that the seller has not been paid and so no item will be received. Contact your bank to determine if that amount has been withdrawn from your account. or pending in card services ( visa)
