2006 Toyota Avalon, red flashing icon "key" when the key is not in the ignition. How is it reset?

That's normal. It is indicating your ignition security system is activated and your key is required to start the key or deactivate the security. There is nothing to "reset". If the red light is not flashing when the key is not in the ignition, then there is something wrong with your ignition security system.

I have sound problems no sound on my laptop I have team viewer if that makes things easier

Look at the volume icon in the tray (notification area. Does it have a red line through it? If so, a double-click should let you click the speaker icon to get rid of the X over it.

Look at the Fn keys, F1-F12 for an icon that looks like a speaker or a speaker with a red line through it. If it's F5 for example, press Fn/F5 to toggle the mute off.

Hi can anyone help please, my acer 5050 wireless is not working, just installed windows

1. locate the Wireless communication switch/indicator at the front of 5050 just left of headphone jack.
2. slide switch momentarily to the right.
3. you should see "Wireless LAN Enabled" in green letters at the bottom of the screen
4. a little screen icon should appear in the Taskbar at the bottom right of the screen
5. if it has a little red x beside it, right click on it for more options.
6. if it has no red x, you were automatically connected to a wireless that is open (no security enabled)
7. with the red x and after the right click, in the pop-up, click on View Available Wireless Networks
8. in the Wireless Network Connections window, if no list then click on Refresh network list
9. click on the SSID name for your wireless router to Chose a wireless network

My laptop touchpad mouse is not working

Hi,

Check the F keys or the buttons on your computer with the touchpad icon. it looks like this (the one in red box) but it is found on one of the keys on your keyboard though. If you found it press Fn+the button with the touchpad icon and normally there comes an icon on the lower right side of your monitor that shows whether the touchpad is ENABLED or DISABLED.

Advent 9517

either click the red speaker icon in your taskbar (not the white one) and click volume control, or there may well be * shaped icons on the up/down keys on your keyboard normally to the lower right of the keyboard, just press and hold the Fn key along with either of the * iconed keys

Logitech mouse problem

I assume there is no second mouse on the system and you are using keyboard commands. Try the following in the device manager..
  1. Press Control-Esc or press the Windows key on your keyboard to bring up the Start menu.
  2. Using the up arrow key, highlight "Settings."
  3. Right arrow key to "Control Panel" and press the enter key.
  4. Use the arrow keys to highlight the System icon and press the Enter key.
  5. Use the right arrow key to select the Device Manager tab. (For Windows XP/2000 , use the right arrow key select the "Hardware" tab. Now use the tab key, select the "Device Manager" button and press the enter key.)
  6. Use the "Tab" key to select the "Computer Icon" at the top of the list of device icons.
  7. Use the down arrow key to highlight the Mouse icon.
  8. Use the right arrow key to open the mouse icon and verify there is a mouse icon that states, "HID-compliant mouse," and another entry that states the name of your USB device.
  9. If there are any errors reported on these icons by exclamation points or red X's, highlight these icons using the arrow keys and "Tab" to the "Remove" button and press the enter key. (For Windows XP/2000 , highlight these icons using the arrow keys and then press Alt-A keys. From the "Action" menu, highlight "Uninstall" and press the enter key.) When the "Confirm Device Removal" box appears, press the enter key.
  10. Once these icons have been removed, use the Tab key to get to the "Refresh" button and allow Windows to re-detect the pointing device. (If u r using Windows XP/2000 , press the Alt-A keys. From the "Action" menu, select "Scan for hardware changes" and press the Enter key.)
  11. Use the arrow keys to open the Mouse icon again and verify that there are no errors reported.
  12. Power down the computer system and restart Windows.
