Most people add soap directly to stained place there trying to get clean. So my answer is yes. The only think you don't want to put directly on cloths is real bleach. Landry detergent with bleach alternative is ok...like oxy-clean.
this may due to softener, put spray and wash on stains and let it set all day, stop using softener use HE detergent and oxy clean powder wih soap in dispencer, also you may want to sanitize washer before you wash shirt also use the stain setting and extra rinse.thanks
i had same prob. at my daughters house, similar model. first time a hose popped off the top(i removed the lid), later i noticed leaks because my son in law was using oxy clean and it foamed over. my advice is, put machine on its side and look for loose/popped off hoses, dont use too much soap or additives, which will trick the water level sensor or just pour over that little drum
a little bit of vanilla extract will take care of the smell. as far as getting the smell in the first place there is a problem with the drain system either the pump is not quite up to spec and leaving too much water in it or there is a problem with the line coming from it or the drains in your home. my advice would be to call bosch your washer is still under warranty and they will send someone out to look for it at no charge. this is not something i would be taking apart when the company will do it for you.
i believe that vinegar reduces soap, maybe you can us some vinegar to clean out the soap from your washer. I have been wondering the same thing if I used my regular soap in my new washer. and figured if it got bad........i would defnitely use a good 1/4 cup of vinegar to strip out the soap.
did you clean pump? remove bottom cover remove clean out port on front of pump by turning white handle counterclockwise clean pump and reinstall if still have pump out issue ..pump impeller may be loose on shaft and not pumping properly..
The soap dispenser is intended for both liquid and powder detergents. If you have a problem with mildew, then you may need to clean it occasionally with bleach water.
It is simple. The wrong soap or too much soap will caused EFO to flash. I overfilled the machine with soap by accident. It started flashing with EFO and I went nuts. What could be wrong with it now?! Too much soap or not the right kind of soap will cause this problem.
Plus, I found a sheet of paper that gives the codes.
This is better than when the strainer plug gets filled up and you have to take the machine apart to clean the little strainer.
could this be the reason the washer wont turn on????
