If Frame Set = About 6,400 Gallons
If Easy Set = About 5,450 Gallons
Salt levels in a pool for a generator to operate efficiently...
2700 ppm Minimum to 3400 ppm Maximum, 3200 being Ideal.
So...
In pool water with NO Salt reading at all - 0, then you will add 2.67 lbs. of "Pool Salt" (which is almost Food Grade Quality! - NOT Softener Salt!) per 100 gallons of capacity.
A 2001 Porsche Boxster has 217 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 192 ft lb torque at 4,750 rpm; you can get a used one from $10,000 to $20,000, depending on condition and mileage.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lexia3 PP2000
For your pool size you should have started with 160 lbs of salt. 18x48= 6,400 gallons of water. The manual says the only way to lower salt is to partially drain and refill with water, I do not believe there is anything you can add to remove salt. I would think you can throw in some regular chlorine shock to get the green out while you are adjusting the salt level.
I've heard the Twin Cam oil sensor located in the front of the cam chest is prone to giving problems. Start the engine and listen. If the engine sounds normal, check to see if you can determine oil flow back to the oil tank. I'm pretty sure the Road King oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission which is going to make this difficult. But, the fact still remains, if you do not have any oil pressure, your tappets will clatter like hell. It will be obvious that you don't have oil pressure. Check the wire to the sensor on the front of the "nosecone".
that is not excessive oil consumption, 10,000 KM is about 6,400 miles, 1.5 Liters is about 1.1 quarts, this is excellent, my brand new Dodge Magnum uses more oil than this.
