look for a tiny hole in the button panel. It may or not be marked reset. Straighten out a paper clip and push it in the hole slowly until you feel it stop. Gently push it to reset the TV. If that doesn't work, then look at the lamp cover door to see if it is closed all the way. The switch may be bad too.
Can you call up the settings menu? Check to see if the ANT-1, DVD, and other ports are properly activated. You may need to re-scan for channels and to activate the HDMI ports for your other devices. Regards.
The white spots are pixels that are burned out. They will just gradually get worse. You will need a new screen or just replace the whole TV. Probably buy a new one for what it will cost to get a new screen put in it.
Lets try an error code operational checl. Unplug the tv and plug it back in. With the standby LED on press and hold the MENU and DEVICE/INPUT buttons for 5 seconds. The LED will flash a certain number of times pause for a while and blink again. Count the blinks before and after the pass, then post it here so that I can tell you what the problem is
Question title shows it is Mitsubishi WD-65737 tv. When did you replaced lamp in tv? If lamp has not been replaced in last 2-3 years, please check lamp as it seems dead, that is why tv does not turn On.
problem with mitsubishi wd65737. thought the bulb was bad, bought a new bulb replaced it and now the screen doesnt want to come on. light on the front of the tv turns green, you have sound but no picture then the tv turns off the light on the front is now steady red. resetting the sytem worked yesterday but not today.
