Please explain- do you mean that nothing happens when you push the power button? Does it show anything at all then go black with the windows button vibrating being the only thing? Is there any error message? Please clarify.

IPad is suddenly asking for password and won't accept the one I have been using. How can I fix it.

I use a Surface Pro 4 tablet computer and wouldn't use anything else on the market. I have used the Surface 2, then the Surface 3, and now to suit my needs in the computing world a Surface Pro 4. There is nothing on the market that can compare, but the price is up there which is it's only deterrent. But if you want reliability, speed, to pretty well all tasks, it's the standout in the world of tablets bar none. No passwords on my baby, just good old facial recognition, which doesn't miss a beat every time. So my advice, trade that iPad in, and look at a Surface 6, you won't be disappointed. Ken.

I have a Surface 2. Does it come with a built in driver?

Yes it should drivers, that's what make everything work. When you do an update Microsoft will at some stage include Driver updates as well, that is why Updates are so important as they keep your Tablet computer, working as it was designed with the improvements to the system over time. Now I started with a Surface 2, and then over time I upgraded to a Surface Pro 3, then a Pro 4, which I have at the present time. I made sure mine had 16 gigs of memory and 256 gigs of storage which I find is all I need as I use an external drive of 1 Terabyte for storage. I also found over time that if the charge is dropping while in use I just put it back on to charge to keep the battery well charged at all times. By doing all these regular housekeeping duties with the Surface, they have never let me down. I like my Surface Pro 4, you probably would to, but now they have Surface Pro 6's on the market and they are just the best of Tablets that you can buy, even though a tat on the dear side, but that's what you get when you buy Quality. Best of luck.

How do I Stop my Microsoft surface pro 5 battery from losing charge so quickly

There are no surface pro 4's or 5's yet unless you are an engineer at Intel. If you want it to stop discharging so quickly- turn it off, and no I don't just mean put it in standby. You need to power it off completely- that way you will keep it from eating your battery when not in use. These things boot so fast that the inconvenience of 15 seconds is not worth the hassle of a dead battery coming out of sleep after a day or so.

Microsoft surface pro black screen

These get stuck- try holding the power button and the volume up for about 10-15 seconds and it should reset itself.
