Try this (may not work):

1. UNPLUG power from TV at wall outlet.
2. Turn ON the TV (with no power cable plugged in).
3. Plug power cable back in (at wall outlet)
4. Turn ON TV (don't use remote this time).

Tv tunrns on then goes to stand by flashes 4 times & repeats

turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work.You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.

Sound but no picture.

The problem with your television appears to be in the high voltage power supply .  This power supply supports the high voltage on the anode of the picture tube, and the voltages for the picture tube, and other parts of the TV. If you do not have a background in electronics, might I suggest that you have a TV technician to come to your location and work on the TV.
